Staff Pharmacist - Independent Community Pharmacy - Aurora, IL
Pay: $53 to $55 per hour
Sign-on bonus: $1,000, paid after 90 days of employment
Schedule: Full time within store hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. No nights. No Sundays.

About the Role
We are hiring a full-time staff Pharmacist for our independent retail pharmacy in Aurora. You will verify and dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, work directly with prescribers, and oversee technician workflow.

Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely
- Counsel patients on medications, side effects, storage, and interactions
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
- Communicate with prescribers on clarifications and therapy changes
- Maintain compliance with Illinois Board of Pharmacy and DEA requirements
- Support inventory management and daily operations
Qualifications
- Active Illinois pharmacist license (RPh) in good standing (required)
- Retail or community pharmacy experience preferred; strong new graduates considered
- Immunization certification a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Detail-oriented with patient-first communication
